Applied Thai Traditional Medicine (ATTM) fourth-year students from the School of Medicine, Walailak University, achieved outstanding success at the 2026 Nakhon Si Thammarat Sart Duean Sip Festival and Red Cross Fair, held from 28 September to 12 October 2026 at the City Field and Suan Somdet Phra Srinagarindra ’84 (Thung Tha Lat), Nakhon Si Thammarat.
The students participated in the Herbal Compress Competition, entering three teams—and all three teams received awards, demonstrating their knowledge, creativity, teamwork, and practical skills in applying Thai traditional medicine knowledge.
The award-winning teams were:

- Ms. Napassorn Khunprom
- Ms. Natchanan Sukmai
- Ms. Panumas Jantam

All three teams received certificates and prize money in recognition of their achievements.
This success reflects the students’ ability to transform traditional Thai medicine knowledge into practical skills while preserving and promoting Thailand’s valuable traditional healthcare wisdom. It also highlights the commitment of the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine program at Walailak University to developing students through hands-on learning, creativity, and professional experience.
