{"id":62254,"date":"2022-02-15T21:23:25","date_gmt":"2022-02-15T14:23:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smd.wu.ac.th\/?p=62254"},"modified":"2022-07-07T23:50:32","modified_gmt":"2022-07-07T16:50:32","slug":"join-us-for-a-medical-practice-skills-workshop","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smd.wu.ac.th\/?p=62254&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Medical practice skills (Laboratory workshop) for 3rd-year medical students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1>Medical practice skills (Laboratory workshop) for 3rd-year medical students&nbsp;<\/h1>\n<p>February 15<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022<\/p>\n<p>Department of Medical Sciences by its members in Microbiology, Parasitology, Pathology, and Hematology organized an activity to enhance medical practice skills (Laboratory workshop) for 3rd-year medical students between February 9th-12th, 2022 at Center for Scientific and Technological Equipment Building 6. This activity aimed to build on medical skills, which students have learned in the past semester and put into practice. It also prepared our medical students for their future clinical skills training. This workshop enhances them to get acquainted with several skills, including microscopy skills, bacterial identification, gram staining, urine and stool analysis, blood smear technique, and blood collection process (venipuncture). Students were trained in all skills under the supervision of expert instructors and laboratory technicians of the School of Medicine, Walailak University.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<figure
