{"id":68227,"date":"2024-02-14T16:03:55","date_gmt":"2024-02-14T09:03:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/smd.wu.ac.th\/?p=68227"},"modified":"2024-02-14T16:05:12","modified_gmt":"2024-02-14T09:05:12","slug":"skills-enhancement-program-for-spa-massage-project-by-department-of-applied-thai-traditional-medicine-school-of-medicine-walailak-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/smd.wu.ac.th\/?p=68227&lang=en","title":{"rendered":"Skills Enhancement Program for Spa Massage Project by Department of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, School of Medicine, Walailak University"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h1><strong>Skills Enhancement Program for Spa Massage Project by Department of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, School of Medicine, Walailak University<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>February 14th, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Saturday and Sunday, February 3-4, 2024, the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine program, School of Medicine, Walailak University was organized to enhance the skills of second and third-year applied Thai traditional medicine students, as well as our lecturers and applied Thai traditional practitioners from the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine Hospital Walailak University.&nbsp; The program includes workshops and lectures (including how to choose essential oils and how to perform hands-on spa massages) led by a special speaker &#8220;Ms. Kanchanarat Wattanabovornwong,&#8221; who holds the position of Development Manager of Wellness Training at Kamalaya Koh Samui, a well-known holistic health center and spa in Thailand that has worked closely with the School of Medicine to reach an agreement (MOU).<\/p>\n<p>Our activity was completed successfully. Students responded very positively. In the name of applied Thai traditional medicine, we would like to thank the Deputy Dean, Asst. Prof. Nonthapan Phasuk, for honoring us as chairman of the opening ceremony and the speakers for sharing their valuable knowledge and experience, including all collaborators here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure
