       On April 28, 2025, the School of Medicine, Program in Sports and Exercise Science, Walailak University, organized the second year of the “Community Health and Livelihood Promotion Project” in Sichon Subdistrict. This subdistrict shares a border with Tha Sala District, located near the university. The activities encompassed physical fitness assessments and health education for migrant workers residing in Sichon Subdistrict, aimed at promoting their physical health for their labor occupations. Furthermore, community outreach involved gathering health information from individuals with chronic diseases and disabilities within the community. The project also included providing exercise education, demonstrating muscle stretching techniques, and the proper use of rubber bands for exercise. Additionally, guidance on selecting nutritious foods for overall well-being was offered. This initiative integrated the knowledge of sports science and exercise from faculty members and students towards sustainable community development.<\/p>\n
