On September 9\u201310, 2026, third-year medical students from the School of Medicine, Walailak University, represented the university at the 22nd Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz (IMSPQ) 2026, held at Universiti Malaya in Malaysia. The IMSPQ is an annual international competition that provides an opportunity for medical students from universities around the world to compete in physiology. This year, a total of 75 teams participated in the competition.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Walailak University medical student representatives were:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Phisitphong Vichaidid<\/li>\n
  2. Kasidit Thanawut<\/li>\n
  3. Yodsawadee Jullawat<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    In this competition, the Walailak University team successfully passed the written test and advanced to the First Round, placing among the final 60 teams out of 75 participating teams.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    Participation in the IMSPQ provided the students with an opportunity not only to review and strengthen their knowledge of physiology, but also to develop teamwork skills. In addition, they had the opportunity to exchange experiences and build friendships with fellow medical students from various countries. The students also participated in cultural exchange activities and attended special lectures delivered by experts in physiology.<\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    This competition marked another important step in broadening the horizons of Walailak University medical students. It also served as an inspiration for them to continue developing themselves and preparing for future opportunities on the international stage.<\/p>\n
