School of Medicine hosts “SMD17 First Date” event to foster student engagement and enhance educational support for first-year medical students

August 27th, 2024

On August 25, 2024, the Doctor of Medicine program at the School of Medicine organized the “SMD17 First Date” event for first-year medical students. The objective was to provide the program with an opportunity to engage in conversations and get to know each student on an individual basis. This information will provide comprehensive student support across all dimensions, including academics, mental health, soft skills development, and other areas. Additionally, the event served as a platform for students to share their opinions and suggestions, which will be considered for improving the teaching and learning processes to better align with student needs. The event was attended by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Chuchard Pansawad, Dean of the School of Medicine; Assoc.Prof. Nonthapan Phasuk, M.D., Deputy Dean, and Assoc.Prof.Dr. Prapaporn Chaniad, Head of the Department of Medical Science, who engaged in discussions with the students.
