Walailak University Faculty Represented at Global Health Events in the USA

Assistant Professor Dr. Auemphon Mordmuang, Assistant Dean of International Affairs, and Assistant Professor Dr. Lunla Udomwech from the School of Medicine, Walailak University, recently participated in the 3rd Global Health Conference, hosted by Nuvance Health. The conference, held in Danbury, Connecticut, from September 21-25, 2024, focused on the theme “Fostering Global Health Education and Partnerships,” organized by the Majid Sadigh, MD Global Health Academy.

The event highlighted a decade of progress in global health education, bringing together leaders from partner institutions around the world. Dr. Mordmuang contributed as a panelist in the discussion “Research and Publishing in Global Health: Establishing Equitable Partnerships,” sharing Walailak University’s expertise in global health research and partnerships. In addition, Walailak University organized a poster session introducing participants to Thailand’s public health system and the university’s Global Health Elective Programs, which sparked opportunities for new collaborations.
