School of Medicine and the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology Establish Academic and Research Collaboration in Indonesia

From November 29 to December 3, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Chuchard Punsawad, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Associate Professor Dr. Prapaporn Chaniad, Head of the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology, engaged in discussions and established academic and research collaborations with Dr. Feda Anisah Makkiyah, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and Dr. Erna Harfiani, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta, as well as Dr. Sofa Fajriah, Head of the Research Center for Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Traditional Medicine, National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) of Indonesia.

The collaboration aims to strengthen joint initiatives in areas such as student and faculty exchanges, academic conferences, and collaborative research, with the overarching goal of promoting international cooperation. Additionally, the delegation had the opportunity to visit research laboratories and observe state-of-the-art facilities supporting high-quality teaching and research, further paving the way for future academic and research advancements.
