From January 18–21, 2025, a team of first-year medical students from Walailak University’s School of Medicine—Mr. Kasidit Thanawut, Mr. Kritchapon Petin, Mr. Nachapong Chuchot, and Ms. Phonpawi Waenphet—competed in the 14th Siriraj International Medical Microbiology, Parasitology, and Immunology Competition (SIMPIC 2025). The event was hosted by the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Auemphon Mordmuang.
The competition challenged participants’ knowledge in medical microbiology, parasitology, and immunology. It also provided an excellent opportunity for the students to exchange ideas, knowledge, and experiences with medical students from other institutions, both domestically and internationally. This invaluable interaction is expected to foster future academic collaborations.
