During December 20, 2024 to January 17, 2025, third-year Thai traditional medicine students (semester 2/2567) provided diagnosis and treatment services in Thai medical diseases and Thai Traditional Therapeutic Massage diseases such as Court-Type Thai Traditional Massage, herbal medicine, and advice-giving under the supervision of our ATTM lecturers at the Tha Khun Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Tha Sala District, Tha Sala Subdistrict Administrative Organization (Elderly Quality of Life Development Center), and Tha Sala Subdistrict Municipality, Tha Sala District.
Over four sessions of the four-week program, students learnt and practiced taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, providing hand therapy treatment, dispensing herbal medicine, and providing health advice in applied Thai traditional medicine. They give health advice based on Thai traditional medicine, which covers effective patient communication and treatment planning. This entails treating patients using a blend of clinical and basic medical science as well as Thai traditional medicine. The project has received positive feedback from patients who received services at both locations, and the results of the satisfaction evaluation were outstanding. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this project.
