On February 14, 2025, the Bachelor of Science Program in Sports and Exercise Science, School of Medicine, Walailak University, conducted the “Professional Skills Enhancement Project for Sports Competition Support Teams, Course SSE63-244: Team Sports Skills and Science 2,” held at the indoor futsal facility within the Cultural and Sports Promotion Center.
Project Activities encompassed:
The execution of the “SES04 Champion Cup 2025” Futsal Tournament, wherein second-year students were tasked with the organization and management of the event, thereby facilitating the development of their sports management proficiencies.
A lecture entitled “Injuries in Futsal Athletes,” delivered by Mrs Naparat Duangchan, which provided comprehensive insights into prevalent injuries among futsal athletes, effectively integrating the content of Course SSE63-222: Sports Medicine and Sport Injuries.
The project’s objective was to impart to students a thorough understanding of the constituent elements of sports competition management, enabling them to acquire practical expertise in playing techniques, officiating, event administration, basic sports injury first aid, athlete welfare, and the application of sports science principles to optimize the performance of both themselves and athletes in team sports competitions.
