On June 26th, 2025, Walailak University’s School of Medicine warmly organized its annual Wai Kru ceremony for 2025 at the 1,500-seat main auditorium in Thai Buri Building. Ajarn Decha Chinakorn, a lecturer from the Sports and Exercise Science program, spearheaded the project, with full cooperation from the School of Medicine’s Student Affairs Office and Student Club. This ceremony aimed to bestow blessings and foster awareness among students to express their immense gratitude to their instructors, who have imparted knowledge and guidance.
The event saw the full participation of faculty members and students from the School of Medicine, all joining to show respect and reinforce the strong bond between teachers and disciples.
On this auspicious occasion, students from the Sports and Exercise Science program were awarded certificates for outstanding academic performance during the Wai Kru ceremony. These students include: Ms. Nasveera Ma-ouseng (4th-year student), Mr. Noppakao Kongchen (3rd-year student), and Mr. Pranot Thaksin (2nd-year student). These exceptional students serve as excellent role models in their studies and will undoubtedly inspire future generations of students, aligning with the program’s commitment to “producing Sports and Exercise Science graduates with excellent knowledge and ethics, ready to contribute to society.”
