On July 3, 2025, the Doctor of Medicine Program at Walailak University organized the activity “Voice of Med Year 1: Listening to the Voices of First-Year Medical Students.” The event was honored by the presence of Asst.Prof. Pavarud Puangsri, M.D., Deputy Dean of the School of Medicine, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prapaporn Chaniad, Head of the Department of Medical Sciences, along with academic staff of the program. The event created an open space for first-year medical students to express their experiences, challenges, and suggestions related to their early journey in medical school. During the session, the program team presented the SAFE Medical School approach for student support, clarified the assessment and evaluation criteria, essential academic regulations, and the structured support system designed to enhance student academic achievement. The Voice of Med activity reflects the program’s ongoing commitment to developing a student-centered curriculum while fostering a supportive learning environment that promotes growth in both academic knowledge and professional values.
