From July 18-20, lecturers from the Sport Science and Exercise program at Walailak University participated in the 23rd “Pre-UKPSF” workshop. This training, organized by the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, featured Associate Professor Dr. Surin Maisrikrod, Assistant Professor Dr. Suthanya Doung-in, and Assistant Professor Dr. Patwarin Iamsa-ard as instructors.
The workshop aimed to develop teaching skills in line with the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), a professional standard for teaching and supporting learning in higher education in the UK. The program focused on helping lecturers understand their roles and systematically improve the quality of their teaching, with a strong emphasis on student-centered learning.
Participants engaged in knowledge exchange and group activities, and were assigned tasks to reflect on their individual teaching development approaches. This marks another significant step for the Sport Science and Exercise program in personnel development and its pursuit of international excellence, aligning with Walailak University’s vision.
