Walailak University ATTM Students Shine at IFMSA Bootcamp 2025 in Bangkok

September 5th, 2025

From July 25-27, 2025, representatives from Applied Thai Traditional Medicine students, namely Mr. Sittinon Rattanarat and Mr. Jirawat Malee, 3rd-year students, along with Mr. Puriphat Phiwdee, a 2nd-year medical student from the School of Medicine, Walailak University, participated in the “IFMSA Bootcamp 2025.” Their advisor was Assistant Professor Dr. Cholticha Khongkhwamcharoen.

These three students had the opportunity to be selected as representatives to join the competition activity “IFMSA Bootcamp 2025” at Swissôtel Bangkok Ratchada. The event was organized by the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations – Thailand (IFMSA-Thailand) in collaboration with the Thai Health Promotion Foundation (ThaiHealth). The project aims to empower medical and general university students to develop their potential and understanding in creating health promotion projects and policies that genuinely benefit the public. Our students participated in various activities, including online seminars, field trips, a development bootcamp featuring workshops and expert mentoring sessions, and the 11th Health Promotion Project Conference (11th HePPCon). This participation served to enhance the students’ experience and build a network of collaborations among medical students and students from different institutions to improve well-being at all levels.
