On August 25–26, 2025, faculty members from the Walailak University School of Medicine, Department of Sports and Exercise Science, participated in the second workshop for the CWIE (Cooperative and Work-integrated Education) Supervisor Faculty program. This event was organized by the Upper Southern CWIE Network at the Grand Fortune Hotel in Nakhon Si Thammarat province to develop and elevate the potential of supervisor faculty to meet the standards set by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (OPS MHSREI).
The objective of this training was to prepare supervisor faculty to oversee fourth-year students who will be undertaking an 8-month cooperative education internship during the 2025 academic year. The program aims to enhance students’ skills and abilities, enabling them to perform effectively in line with the needs of their host organizations and the demands of the labor market. This training is considered part of the university’s policy, which focuses on producing high-quality graduates who are ready for real-world employment in the future.
