From 14 – 16 September 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natticha Sumneang, a lecturer at the School of Medicine, Walailak University, attended this prominent conference, which focused on the use of probiotics, prebiotics, nutraceuticals, and plant-based extracts to promote the health of humans, animals, and the gut microbiota in Rome, Italy. The event brought together researchers, physicians, scientists, and experts from around the world to exchange academic knowledge and share emerging trends in global research.
At the conference, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natticha Sumneang actively participated in research presentation sessions and academic discussions, as well as establishing international research networks. These opportunities are expected to significantly benefit health-related research development in Thailand. The insights and experiences gained from this international engagement will be brought back to further enhance the School’s research, teaching, and academic services, which ultimately contributing to the capacity building of both faculty members and students at national and international levels.
