The School of Medicine extends its congratulations to Ms. Lalitpat Thongwon, a first-year medical student, on being selected by the International Federation of Medical Students Association – Thailand (IFMSA -Thailand) to represent Thai medical students at the international academic conference, the Asia-Pacific Medical Students’ Symposium (APMSS) 2026.
The symposium, held under the theme “Redefining Medicine: Resilience, Innovation, and Global Impact,” will take place from 26 – 31 January 2026 at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine, Taipei, Taiwan. The event aims to provide a platform for medical students from the Asia-Pacific region to exchange knowledge, experiences, and academic perspectives in medicine, as well as to strengthen international collaboration networks among medical students.
This achievement reflects the student’s strong potential and readiness to engage in international academic activities and represents an important opportunity to further develop academic competencies and a global perspective in medicine.
