From April 1 – 4, 2026, Associate Professor Dr. Chuchard Punsawad, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Associate Professor Dr. Prapaporn Chaniad, Head of the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology, conducted an academic mission as Visiting Professors at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ), Indonesia, to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. On this occasion, they were warmly welcomed by Dr. dr. Feda Anisah Makkiyah, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, and dr. Erna Harfiani, Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation, along with faculty members and research teams.
Both parties engaged in discussions on ongoing funded research projects, while also exchanging academic knowledge and experiences in areas of mutual interest. These activities aim to advance collaborative research toward tangible outcomes under the framework of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA). The collaboration is expected to contribute to research development, international publications, and the establishment of sustained academic research networks.This initiative was supported by the Walailak University International Mobility and Publication Advancement and Collaboration (IMPACT Fund), which aims to enhance the university’s international research collaboration capacity.
