The School of Medicine at Walailak University recently welcomed a delegation of executives, faculty members, and staff from the Faculty of Sports Science, Chulalongkorn University. Led by Associate Professor Dr. Chaipat Lawsirirat, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Science, the visit aimed to facilitate knowledge sharing on “Strategic Planning, Operational Management, and the Crucial Roles of Supporting Staff in Educational Quality Assurance (QA).
The study visit, which took place on Friday, June 5, 2026, focused on the operations of the School of Medicine and its Sports Science and Exercise Program.
The delegation was warmly received by Associate Professor Dr. Chuchard Punsawad, Dean of the School of Medicine, alongside the school’s executive team, faculty members, and staff at the Chopradu meeting room, 4th floor, Chulabhorn Wechawat Building, Walailak University Hospital.
This bilateral exchange focused heavily on sharing institutional experiences regarding organizational strategic planning, curriculum management, and the driving forces behind quality assurance systems, highlighting the pivotal role of supporting staff. These elements serve as a solid foundation for both institutions to sustainably elevate their educational standards.
Furthermore, the delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with faculty members from the Sports Science and Exercise Program to explore future academic and research collaborations. The visit concluded with a tour of the state-of-the-art facilities, laboratories, classrooms, and sports stadiums for modern teaching and learning at Walailak University.
