On September 15, 2026, faculty members from the School of Medicine, Walailak University, participated in a Poster Presentation to showcase their academic social responsibility projects driving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for the fiscal year 2026. The event was held during “WU SDG Day 2026,” organized by the Center for Academic Services, Walailak University, at the Hua Thaphan Conference Room, Walailak University Hospital.
A total of three projects were presented:
- “Bright Eyes Without Borders in Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province”
- Project Team: Asst.Prof. Lunla Udomwech, M.D., Assoc.Prof.Dr. Auemphon Mordmuang, and Asst. Prof. Wararee Sriyuttagral, M.D.
2. “Development of Herbal Products and Community Health Promotion through Applied Thai Traditional Medicine Based on Scientific Evidence”

- Project Team: Asst.Prof.Piriya Chonsut and Asst.Prof. Paratthakorn Sangkaew.
3. “Community Health Promotion in the Elderly Club of Tha Sala Subdistrict Municipality and Communities in Sichon Subdistrict Area (Year 3)”

- Project Team: Lecturer Bulin Jirapongsatorn, Lecturer Ratchaya Supalak, and Lecturer Naparat Doungchan.
The presentation of these projects reflects the role and commitment of the School of Medicine in integrating knowledge, research, and academic services to sustainably enhance the quality of life and health of the community in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
