The medical student from Walailak University participated in a short-term international exchange program between Thailand and the Republic of India.

Ms. Punyanuch Soontreewong, a first-year medical student from the School of Medicine at Walailak University, participated in the Asian Medical Students’ Exchange Program (AMSEP), a short-term international exchange program between Thailand and the Republic of India. This program took place in New Delhi, Republic of India, from July 2nd to 6th, 2023. Ms. Soontreewong was one of the five Thai medical students selected by the Asian Medical Students’ Association of Thailand to take part in this remarkable opportunity. During the program, Ms. Soontreewong attended classes alongside medical students from Maulana Azad Medical College, where she gained invaluable insights into the healthcare system of the Republic of India. Furthermore, she had the privilege of following doctors during patient visits at Rao Tula Ram Memorial Hospital, Jaffarpur. Beyond the academic and medical experiences, she also had the chance to immerse herself in social activities, embrace the local culture, and explore significant landmarks throughout the Republic of India.
