Thai Medical Women’s Association, Under the Royal Patronage of Her Majesty the Queen, Visits School of Medicine Scholarship Recipients

On October 9, 2023, a delegation from the Thai Medical Women’s Association, led by President Dr. Mayura Kusum, MD., visited Walailak University’s School of Medicine. The delegation, which included Dr. George Curuby, Ms. Tomoko Kanno, Dr. Siraporn Sawasdivorn, MD, and Dr. Benjaporn Panyayong, MD, received a warm welcome from Associate Professor Dr. Chuchard Punsawad, the acting dean, along with school staff and students. During the visit, the Thai Medical Women’s Association engaged in discussions with scholarship recipients, touching on various aspects of the scholarships with the School of Medicine. The association has been providing scholarships to medical students since 2011. Up to now, 17 scholarships have been granted to the School of Medicine, comprising 5 postgraduates and 12 undergraduates.
