Welcoming Dr. Marian Lacy from the College of Medicine, University of Arizona, USA to the School of Medicine at Walailak University.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuchard Punsawad, Dean of the School of Medicine, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Patnarin Supakorn, Acting Director of the International Affairs Center warmly welcomed Dr. Marian Lacy, the infectious disease fellow from the College of Medicine, University of Arizona, USA. Dr. Lacy had come to observe and gain experience in infectious diseases in Thailand at School of Medicine and Walailak University Hospital during March 19-20 and March 25-29, 2024. Dr. Lacy was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuchard Punsawad, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nonthaphan Phasuk, Dr. Doungkamon Siriachawawat, and a team of PhD students (Mr. Atthaphon Kalyanee, Ms. Arisara Phuwacharoenphong, and Ms. Walaiporn Plirat) who served as the instructors. Dr. Lacy has gained experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of infectious diseases in Thailand, including tuberculosis, melioidosis, dengue fever, malaria, parasitic diseases, and others.
