Walailak University’s Sports and Exercise Science Program Hosts Professional Skills Enhancement Project on Competitive Athlete Training Program Design.

On February 3, 2025, the Bachelor of Science Program in Sports and Exercise Science, within the School of Medicine at Walailak University, conducted a Professional Skills Enhancement Project focused on developing training programs for competitive athletes. This initiative, associated with course SSE63-352, Exercise Program Design for Competition, was held at the Sports Science Building and the Physical Education Building, located within the University’s Center for Culture and Sports Promotion.

Mr. Kittikarn Dee-ying, a Strength and Conditioning Coach at K Performance, served as a guest speaker for the project. His expertise provided students with theoretical and practical knowledge of competitive exercise program design, encompassing program organization, training regimen planning, and athlete physical conditioning to maximize performance and competitive readiness. This experiential learning opportunity aimed to prepare students for careers as team sports scientists and to develop competencies aligned with industry demands.
