On February 23, 2025, the Medical Student Association of the School of Medicine, under the supervision of the School of Medicine at Walailak University, organized the seminar “Here We Go: The Path to Clinical Training” at Pattharathammaporn Conference Room, Walailak University Hospital. The event was honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chuchat Phansawat, Dean of the School of Medicine, who presided over the event. This seminar aimed to prepare third-year medical students for a smooth and efficient transition into clinical training.
The event provided a platform for exchanging experiences between preclinical and clinical students, alumni, and faculty members. Through these exchanges, valuable insights were shared on how to approach clinical learning effectively. Additionally, various activities took place, including experience-sharing sessions from senior clinical students and alumni, a costume competition, shared dinner, and a performance by the SMD concert, which was well received by all attendees.
This event not only fostered stronger relationships between students and faculty but also encouraged positive attitudes toward studying at the School of Medicine. The seminar played an essential role in preparing third-year students for their clinical studies, creating an atmosphere of warmth and learning, and leaving a lasting impression on all participants. The knowledge and experiences gained during the event will undoubtedly help students as they embark on the next stage of their medical learning.
