School of Medicine in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology, organized an international research seminar titled “Transdisciplinary Perspectives in Health Sciences”
On March 27, 2026, the School of Medicine, Walailak University, in collaboration with the Center of Excellence in Tropical Pathobiology, convened a hybrid international research seminar under the theme “Transdisciplinary Perspectives in Health Sciences” as part of the Walailak Research Convention 2026 (WRC 2026). The seminar was honored by the participation of two invited speakers from the School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia:
1) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norsuhana Binti Omar, who delivered a lecture on “Nature-Based Therapeutics for Sustainable Healthcare: Integrative Approaches in Modern Medicine”
2) Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Shahrulsalam Bin Mohd Shah, who presented on “Advancing Paediatric Surgery in a Sustainable Era: Updates, Innovations, and Future Directions”
This seminar aimed to serve as a forum for knowledge exchange and to strengthen transdisciplinary research collaboration. It gathered faculty members, researchers, and students to collectively drive the development of research and innovations capable of tackling future healthcare challenges.
