From April 30 to May 1, 2026, the faculty of the Applied Thai Traditional Medicine Program, School of Medicine, Walailak University, conducted a strategic study visit at the Faculty of Traditional Thai Medicine, Prince of Songkla University (PSU).
Advancing Curriculum Management and AUN-QA Standards
The delegation was honored to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chulaluk Chokephaisal, Associate Dean for Education and Student Development, as the keynote speaker. She shared invaluable insights into curriculum administration, instructional system development, and the implementation of AUN-QA frameworks. These insights will be instrumental in conducting Gap and SWOT Analyses for the upcoming 2027 curriculum revision.
Deepening Expertise in Traditional Medicine Formulation
The visit also featured a specialized session on “Traditional Medicine Formulation” conducted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Phirunrat Saelim. This session focused on integrating deep professional competencies in Thai Pharmacy and Medicine into the program’s teaching strategies, ensuring that the Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) effectively meet the demands of modern professional practice.
