On November 29th, 2023 (10:00 AM to 12.00 PM), Meeting room 40 seat, 8th Floor, at Walailak University (WU) Hospital, and Applied Thai Traditional Medicine’s Walailak University Hospital. Under the direction of the dean of the medical school, the head of the Department of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, the acting director of the Hospital of Applied Thai Traditional Medicine, the executive committee, and the lecturers, participants were able to greet Mr. Gopal Kumar (General Manager and Director of Health Development) Ms. Kanchanarat Wattanabovornwong (Personal Assistant to General Manager) and Ms. Umaporn Rattanawannee (Personal Assistant to General Manager) of Kamalaya Koh Samui. To discuss and begin projects to establish academic collaboration. The primary goal is for students to gain more experience in providing services in applied and traditional Thai medicine and a spa and wellness center in the hotel. Moreover, Kamalaya is a Holistic wellness center and one of Thailand’s most famous health resorts. This project aims to ensure that our graduates have the qualifications the country’s healthcare system requires.
