Applied Thai Traditional Medicine department, School of Medicine, Walailak University is the first program of its kind in applied Thai traditional medicine in the southern region of Thailand. This is the new credentialing program that has been endorsed by the Professional Council at the beginning of the year 2021. We manage and aware of the development of teaching. Therefore, we have a wide variety of lecturers in various fields of expertise who approved by the United Kingdom Professional Standard Framework (UKPSF) teaching system to support the initial and continuing professional learning of all lecturers engaged in teaching and supporting learning and provide a mechanism for recognition of quality and innovation in teaching and learning practice to increase student engagement and understanding. Moreover, our department initiated our teaching readiness program to accept new coming students in the academic year 2021 according to high standards, for example, providing professional experience training resources, facilities for students who are going to study in the future as well. Following TCAS1 and TCAS2, we have most applicants even we just established especially the student who applied for five scholarships with cover throughout 4 years of tuition fee that we already announced a list of students who pass on both TCAS on the website; https://entry.wu.ac.th/new/home_result.asp?p=66&v=1. At present, the application period of TCAS3 (admission) on May 7-15th, 2021 is available now.
